DAVE BREWER INC. SEES BRISK DEMAND FOR REMODELING, ADDITIONS - May 9, 2008

SANFORD, Fla. – Dave Brewer, Inc. reports that while new home construction has slowed, luxury home remodeling and additions work is booming. The home builder who specializes in luxury custom homes priced at $1 million and up has a remodeling division which was recently awarded three contracts worth more than $600,000 to remodel or build additions for homes at Alaqua and Alaqua Lakes. Jay Carter, vice president of the firms remodeling division, Dave Brewer Constructors, said the company’s most recent contracts at Alaqua Lakes include a two-story, 1,200 square foot addition and a new kitchen and pool deck remodel. At Alaqua, a 3,100 square foot addition includes a new game room, wine cellar and wine bar. Carter said Dave Brewer Constructors is currently negotiating three additional contracts worth more than $1 million.
